AFTER-SCHOOL ENRICHMENT

K-Kids Club

Big Springs Elementary School is proud to have the K-Kids Club. This youth service club is associated with the Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley. The K-Kids pledge to serve their neighborhood and school, show respect for their environment, and try to make the world a better place. The club focuses on developing leadership skills while performing school and community service projects. Currently, the students are working on a pet supply drive for a local shelter, creating and displaying posters with positive affirmations around campus, and volunteering at our PTA events. Fifth and Sixth grade students may apply at the beginning of the school year for a possible spot in the group. If you have any questions, please contact the club advisor, Ms. Nash at eileen.nash@simivalleyusd.org.
