After-School Enrichment

K-Kids Club

Big Springs Elementary School is proud to have the K-Kids Club. This youth service club is associated with the Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley. The K-Kids pledge to serve their neighborhood and school, show respect for their environment, and try to make the world a better place. The club focuses on developing leadership skills while performing school and community service projects. Currently, the students are working on a pet supply drive for a local shelter, creating and displaying posters with positive affirmations around campus, and volunteering at our PTA events. Fifth grade students may apply at the beginning of the school year for a possible spot in the group. If you have any questions, please contact the club advisor, Mrs. Cindy Panczel at cindy.panczel@simivalleyusd.org.
